Every year, ¡Globalquerque! throws a mini-festival for the school kids of greater Albuquerque and the around the state.

Friday morning  the National Hispanic Cultural Center’s Plaza Mayor is turned into a special interactive mini-festival for students and teachers to explore the cultures of two visiting ¡Globalquerque! artists!  This year 's artists Belize's Garifuna Collective and Inuit group Pamyua are on hand to enthrall and educate.

Come share some great music,  educational outreach and artist engagement with your students.  This event is geared towards kids and will be outside and there will be lots of room for dancing.  Bring your school or class for a day joy, enthusiasm and a unique cross-cultural experience!

You’re school or class must register for the event so we can plan accordingly.

You can register on-line or contact David Torres: DavidM.Torres@state.nm.us / 505-383-4770.
