COVID-19 SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS

¡Globalquerque! will be abiding by all CDC and local public health mandates and guidelines. In addition to this, only those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or those who have tested negative of COVID-19 will be allowed to enter the festival ground.

 

Proof of a negative COVID-19 test result or printed proof of full COVID-19 vaccination must be presented at entry. The negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 48 hours of attending ¡Globalquerque!.

 

In addition, we strongly encourage all attendees on festival grounds to wear masks. In accordance with State of New Mexico regulations, masks are required to be worn inside any buildings on the National Hispanic Cultural Center campus. Free online testing is available to New Mexico residents at https://learn.vaulthealth.com/nm/

 

¡Globalquerque! will continue to work closely with state and city officials. The safety and health of festival attendees, staff, artists, and volunteers are always our highest priority.

 

Hand Sanitizer Stations will be provided outside the Medical and Merch booths, in the Food and Drink areas and at the entrances of all buildings.

We are pleased to partner with Curative, an essential COVID-19 health services

provider who has been a leader in COVID-19 response throughout the pandemic.

For your convenience, you may book a no-cost COVID-19 testing appointment

on Curative’s website HERE.

Curative will also be ONSITE at ¡Globalquerque! to offer rapid testing!

TICKET AVAILABILITY AND REFUNDS

Walk-up tickets are available at the gate, but the best deal is to purchase tickets in advance

Get on our mailing list for Early Bird Ticket announcements!  

Tickets are available after 4 PM each day of the festival at the entrance gate.

The ¡Globalquerque! Saturday Global Fiesta from 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM is free.  

After 4 PM you MUST have a valid wristband to remain on site.  There are NO exceptions.

All sales are final for all tickets to ¡Globalquerque! and related events. However, tickets are transferrable, so you can gift them to a pal or loved one if you are unable to attend. Weekend passes cannot be split and must be used by the same person each day of the festival.  

Artist lineup is subject to change and artists cancellations, postponements, or rescheduling is not grounds for a refund.
 

WRISTBANDS

You must wear your wrist band at all times.  Folks without the proper wristband will be escorted off festival grounds.

RE-ENTRY

Is allowed with proper wrist band.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

Beer is available for purchase on site from ¡Globalquerque!'s Official Brew: Santa Fe Brewing Co.

Wine is available for purchase on site from ¡Globalquerque!'s Official Vino: Vivác Winery.

You must be 21+ with and valid ID to receive a wristband to purchase beer or wine.
No outside alcohol is allowed anywhere on the festival site.

WEATHER

Please note that two of the three stages are outside, and New Mexico in September can range in temperature from very warm afternoons to sweater weather in the evening. ¡Globalquerque! is a rain or shine event.  Please prepare accordingly. 

FIRST AID
There is a staffed first aid tent on site.

THERE ARE NO CAMPING OPTIONS 

However, we do have a sweet deal with Best Western Albuquerque Airport Inn and Suites that includes shuttle service to the festival.  Check out rates here.

THESE ITEMS ARE COOL TO BRING

Daypacks, water bottles, sunscreen, cameras (no flash photography, please), cell phones, service animals

Also: wear comfy shoes, bring a friend and bring a smile!

THESE ITEMS ARE NOT COOL TO BRING & ARE PROHIBITED

Drugs, alcohol, weapons of any kind including guns & knives, fireworks, open flames, pets or animals of any kind (except service animals), professional recording devices, skateboards, chairs or tables, matches.
 

AFTER 4 PM on Friday and Saturday, the following are also prohibited on campus: all outside food & drink and strollers.

SMOKING IS PROHIBITED 

Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the National Hispanic Cultural Center campus.

UNAUTHORIZED VENDING IS PROHIBITED 

Unauthorized vending or selling of any items, materials, food or drink is prohibited and is grounds for removal from festival grounds.
