Albuquerque Museum Amphitheatre

Every year, ¡Globalquerque! throws a mini-festival for the school kids of greater Albuquerque and around the state.
Friday morning the Albuquerque Museum Amphitheatre is turned into a special interactive mini-festival for students and teachers to explore the cultures of a visiting ¡Globalquerque! artist or two!
This years visiting artists are multi-cultural percussion ensemble THE FOREST, featuring members hailing from Native American, West African, and Latin cultures and beyond along with Taiwanese string virtuosa NINI!
Come share some great music, educational outreach and artist engagement with your students. This event is geared towards kids and will be outside and there will be lots of room for dancing. Bring your school or class for a day joyous interaction, enthusiasm and a unique cross-cultural experience!
